Welcome to KIU- Western Campus

Welcome to the website of Kampala International University [KIU] Western Campus. KIU is one of Uganda's private Chartered Universities, a leading academic centre, and a community of scholars. Each year, KIU welcomes talented students, at both undergraduate and graduate level, from all over East Africa and beyond. Programmes of study offered at Western Campus are designed to make students think logically, laterally and independently. Our aim is to remain at the forefront of centres of learning, teaching and research.

Our Facilities in the Teaching Hospital help to train the next generation of medical professionals. Since its inception, KIU has trained over 1,200 medical professionals in various fields. We believe in the importance of treating our patients and students with respect and kindness. The Teaching Hospital is helping to bring health and hope to those in need.

The activities and achievements so far reclines a set of values and ambitions that define the character of the University: the pursuit of excellence in all we do, commitment to education as well as research, determination to seek out and attract students of the greatest talent, regardless of background; and an active engagement with society in Uganda and the Great Lakes region.

The Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor is committed to the pursuit of excellence in all of the university's academic activities and holistic treatment of patients. As the chief academic and administrative officer of the Campus, my office seeks to attract and retain the best faculty and to assist them in offering an outstanding education for KIU students.
